In love with Lace- DIY lace Clutch

I have been busy modpodging again!

I found a basic vintage clutch at the secondhand store for a couple of dollars, the label inside "A Hermes product speaks for itself", which is hilarious! From what I can tell they were maybe made in New Zealand in the 60's or 70's. The clutch was in good condition although as its a little old there were a few dents in it.

My solution was to modgepodge on some lace from the 80's! I was able to find a thicker lace and just played around with it to get it looking nice, as with all modgepodging there was alot of leaving to dry!
I modgepodged into the creases on either side, all on the front and inside as well because the modgepodge appeared to mark the fabric ( probably because I'm using the wrong type!). Where the lace went over at the front I just trimmed it, as it wouldn't stick to the metal rim.

I glued on a nice pearl embellishment I had taken off a necklace, same necklace I used to make the bow ring as well. Easy.
