What we are Reading....

Little man really enjoyed going to the play of  Duck, Death and the Tulip. An unusual but gentle story about Death, a Gecko Press publication here in NZ.

We have so many kiwi books about birds and bugs but none about native tree's so I was really excited to see 'The Little Tree' both my kids at home and the kids at Kindy really enjoyed it.

Ken Follett is an author I really enjoy, he can really mix a good story with a lot of factual information without it getting to dry. The Century Trilogy follows five linked families living in different countries and their experience with firstly World War One ( Fall of Giants) followed by World War Two and the beginning of the cold war ( Winter of the World). Its nice to really enjoy a story and come away with newly learned history as well.

Pretty sure I'm not the only one busting out all those Christmas issues....just a little bit of inspiration for December.

How good does that Chocolate Mousse look...only three ingredients too. I'm a big fan of Annabel Langbien, so I thought I would get the new summer annual, so glad I did its full of some lovely recipes and I have already used it several times, a lot of recipes for a low price really.
